IT Asset Management SaaS:
5 Years of Growth & G2 Recognition

Between 2020 and 2025, we helped a minimally funded pre-seed startup grow a simple IT asset tracker into a full mid-market SaaS platform powering onboarding, lifecycle management, licensing, and IT/HR automation for hundreds of companies. The product has held G2 High Performer status for three years and received Highest User Adoption plus two more High Performers in 2025.

2020 — Foundation

With only 10–15 engineering hours per week, we turned an idea into a working SaaS core in under six weeks: multi-tenant architecture, roles, onboarding, admin tools, email infra, and early UX. Weekly releases began immediately. By December, the first customer signed up.

Key Stats: Team: 1→3 engineers • ~6 weeks to MVP • Weekly releases • First commercial customer

2021 — Daily Use & First Automations

Growing usage revealed a bottleneck: everything depended on manual data entry. We shipped bulk imports, early automations, improved large-data UX, and first IAM/MDM integrations, turning the product from a tracker into a daily operational tool.

2022 — Mid-Market Ready

Mid-sized clients broke our early import system. We built CSVbox, added audit logs, permissions, validation, and “bulk everything”. Onboarding dropped from days to hours and mid-market deals unblocked.

“The onboarding was really slick.”

2023 — Integration Explosion

Every client used a different HR/IAM system. Through a partnership with APIdeck, we shipped 2–3 integrations per week and supported 50+ HR systems. Assets, people, licenses, and cost were connected, creating a financial visibility layer.

Key Stats: 2–3 integrations/week • 50+ HR systems • Value shift: operational → financial visibility

2024 — Platform Era

Dozens of integrations introduced massive complexity. We built a unified integration engine with sync plans, steps, checks, error handling, retries, and normalization — keeping the codebase stable and release cadence weekly.

“Integration with Microsoft and our HRIS is excellent. Amazing support team.”

2024–2025 — Multi-Account & Partner Channel

Larger customers and MSPs needed multi-org control. We delivered multi-account architecture, a Partner Portal, and independent MSP onboarding. A new acquisition channel formed without increasing support load.

“An absolute game-changer[ … ] complete oversight with very little user input.”

Key Stats: Partner channel opened • Support load stable • Multi-tenant → multi-account

2025 — Toward Full Automation

We introduced direct provisioning, automatic user creation, Onboarding Kits, and real-time license accuracy. Onboarding moved toward one-click automation.
